Amulet Vineyard was established by Sue and Eric Thornton near Beechworth in North East Victoria in 1997.

Nestled in the Beechworth hills the vineyard produces an elegant selection of wines carefully nurtured through their unique life span.

From the first buds to the fermenting barrel, Sue and Ben ensure the grapes are carefully picked and pressed to create a lasting impression.

The wines at Amulet are of Italian and French varieties and every bottle is a testament to dedication, hard work and twenty years of passionate knowledge of the industry.

Amulet means good luck charm. Our early settlers would have worn amulets like a rabbit foot or various gemstones. We selected the name because we considered that good luck was something we would need.

With 15 acres (6 hectares) of vines, Amulet is a family operated business that offers professional, personal and friendly service, providing hand crafted, tiny volumes of unique wines from the iconic region of Beechworth. These wines are individual and may differ each year with the new vintage.
